The FQ WORSHIP SONG WRITING EVENT Song Selection Process:
• A team of worship leaders will review all songs. The top ten songs will be judged and critiqued by Jesse Reeves, Daniel Carson, and Nathan Nockels.
• Top songs selected will be played on FQ RADIO for one week, and members whose songs have been selected will be notified. Week of play will be determined by FQ staff.
• Depending on the number of entries received, there may be several weeks of new top songs played. Each entry will be played for only one week.
• All FQ Members and email subscribers will be allowed to vote on their favorite song.
• Only one vote per member or email subscriber per week.
• PRIZES FOR TOP SONGS: No prizes will be awarded to anyone who enters a song. Instead, the top songs selected will be played on FQ RADIO for a minimum of one week, which will allow songs to be heard by many other worship leaders, bands and songwriters.
* VOTES: Detailed voting results (including total number of votes per song per week) will NOT be available.
* PURPOSE of EVENT: One of our passions with this site when we began was to provide a place for songwriters to share their songs with others. Hundreds of incredible worship songs are written each year. Some are written by professional songwriters and artists, others by worship leaders and musicians in local churches. We are not offering a prize of any kind for the top songs chosen. Instead, we are offering an incredible opportunity for many to hear your song. Obviously, we cannot guarantee that every song will be made available to be played on FQ RADIO, but many will. You will never know who might hear your song and want to use it in their church or ministry. Again, we want to provide a place for new worship songs to be shared with others.
FQ RADIO: During the voting weeks of the Worship Song Writing Event, FQ RADIO (an audio player on the FQ Site) is accessible by all visitors to FQWORSHIP.COM.
SONGS PLAYED ON FQ RADIO: Songs chosen for each week of voting will be played on FQ RADIO for one week. The top five songs will be played for an additional week. Following the Worship Song Writing Event, FQWORSHIP.COM may choose to continue to offer some of the songs to be played on FQ RADIO, whether FQ RADIO is available to everyone or to just the All Access membership.
If you have questions, please email us at info@fqworship.com.
More information may be added to this page at any time throughout the FQ WORSHIP SONGWRITING EVENT to help keep our members informed.

Converting an Audio File to an MP3
If you need to convert your audio file to an .mp3, you can accomplish this in iTunes. Once your song has been added to iTunes (it will need to be in an iTunes recognizable format already), you will need to open your preferences and change your “import settings” to MP3. You can then close your preferences, find the song you wish to convert, right-click on the song and select “Create MP3 version”. The MP3 will be created and dropped into the folder in which the original file exists.
