Thanks for adding this entry! Having gone through too many delay pedals to count over the years I think it's important to point out that the DL4 and DD20 differ significantly in their overall strengths. The DL4 is great for atmospheric, more obviously "tweaked" sounds. The DD20 is wonderful for accurate, tempo-detailed, and more "classic" delay sounds. The expression pedal add-on for the DL4 can essentially expand your presets to 6 (with some range and fun oscillation in between).

Line6 now has an M13 and an M9 available. They contain all of their pedal modelers and allow you to "layer" up to 4 effects simultaneously. If I didn't already own my delays I'd have grabbed one up in a second (I still probably will).

And regarding a great system for loops - Carl Martin Combinator 2 or Octaswitch are the best/most versatile for the $$$. You can go custom but the price will quadruple.

Josh - Loop Switcher (or Looper, or Switcher) basically puts all of the "on/off" switches for your pedals in one place, as well as making them all true bypass (signal doesn't go through the pedal when "off"). You can think of it like an effects loop on a newer amp, where you have a "send" and "receive". You can put as many pedals in between as you want, but turning on the effects loop turns on the entire "loop". A Loop Switcher is just multiple effect loops in one box. Voodoo makes some pretty cool ones, and you can get really fancy with their Commander, which allows you to preset multiple loops for single switches. Daniel had his custom made, and there are several companies that make them since they aren't hard to make, so you can get an idea of other places by just Google-ing them. (I don't think there's a single standard name by which they go by, but "loop switcher" is a good place to start.)
Hope that helps!

I just watched the video of Daniel going over his gear. I'm always up for pedals, love em. And I prefer the use of individual pedals such as he uses, but I love the ability of multi effects or midi controlled pedals. In the video he showed what he called a loop switcher. It appears to be something which selects different selections of individual pedals with one click. That is awesome, if that is truly what this piece does. Can I get more info on this specific pedal... exactly what it does/how he uses it, and where would I find such a pedal. Thank you.

In one of Daniel Carson's videos, for "My Deliverer", he mentions using a dotted-eighth note delay, reverb and a reverse delay to get the tone he is using. Is there a way you could get the settings he uses on each of these effects (time, feedback, mix/level, etc) to me to better be able to duplicate this type of tone? Thank you.
